One Little Happiness

My friend, Paula, runs a very nice blog about her everyday life, inspirations and, what is the most important, about her baby, few months old Marcelina. It is called: One Little Happiness. Paula has only few post, but she already has a lot of fans and followers. Just take a look at the comment section! She writes very long and interesting stories and adds a lot pictures of Marcelina, her house and everything, what inspires her. Check it out, if you are interested, what is new in baby fashion and home decorating . Paula writes in Polish, so I hope there will be no problem to understand her while the blog translates her posts to English.

Fashionistas, part 3: Signe Siemsen

Another Swedish girl – Signe – runs her blog called Milk for the last couple of years already. She writes about her everyday life and being a DJ and model (she was modeling e.g. for a big fashion company – American Apparel). Signe has her own style of wearing clothes. The one with a large military jacket, black tights and army boots is my favourite. I really enjoy watching her blog, because her pictures of everything around her are highly interesting and there are a lot of photos borrowed from other blogs and websites, but very stylish connected with each other. Meet Signe Siemsen – a fashionista with an artistic soul.

Fashionistas, past 2: Mira and Thilda Berglind

Mira and Thilda Berglind are another fashion bloggers worth mentioned in my Fashionistas series. Two sisters from Sweden became very popular among all fashion bloggers few years ago. They blog about their style and love for fashion on Kanal5.se – 365 Days. Currently, they travel around the Europe and post amazing pictures, full of taste and passion. Both look like models and both take great, fairy-tale-like pictures. Is there any better recipe for a successful blogging?  Meet Mira and Thilda – Swedish girls from a fairytale.

Fashionistas, part 1: Olivia Lopez

Girls who blog about fashion , persistently and creatively, usually “end up” as stylist for fashion magazines or important websites about beauty and style. Sometimes they run their own blogs and get a lot of money from ads and sponsors.  There is a one word describing all the girls (and guys as well, of course) – Fashionistas. I have been addicted to few fashion bloggers since I first saw Olivia Lopez’s Lust for Life blog. Olivia is a 19 years old American girl (she started blogging when she was 14), who passionately writes about fashion and style. She is a student, blogger and model. Olivia presents her recognizable style, posing on all of the pictures placed on her blog. Meet a girl full of good ideas – Olivia Lopez.

Dainius Sciuka

I totally enjoy looking at Dainius Sciuka’s work. He is a young, Lithuanian photographer and he is definitely interested in fashion and street photography. Sciuka captures young, beautiful people, crazy and vain like a whole new generation. He is able to frame every single hedonistic, but at the same time very decadent gaze and make it look cool and trendy. He loves colour. His pictures are saturated and alive. And his models cooperate with him very well, it’s easy to notice. Take a look at a fresh fashion photographer, Dainius Sciuka.

College made me “Black and White”

Since October I have been taking pictures basically in two colours:  black and white. Well, we can always argue that a black and white image has many, many more than only two colours – all the tones of gray, from light to dark, make the image very diverse. Anyway, I fell in love in all the black & white photographs and I started to look at this kind of photography in a different way than before. I used to think that a monochrome image is sad and I usually considered it as an art. But since we have been bombarded with all of the rich in colour and saturated massages in magazines and ads, I really need to slow down and take a fresh look at the beautiful, dreamy black & white photography. All the pictures below by me.
